CEIEC (China National Electronics Import and Export Corporation), a large State-owned foreign trade enterprise affiliated to China Electronics Corporation (CEC), was established in 1980—the beginning of China’s reform and opening.

As the main trading channel of China’s electronic products, CEIEC has made great contribution to the development of Chinese electronic industry and the globalization of Chinese electronic products. By the end of 2007 its total asset is increased up to RMB 8.2 billion (USD 1,2 billion), and the total annual sales up to RMB 13.2 billion (USD 1,9 billion).
